Monthly

• Take a full backup, stored offsite, and check that it restores.
• Update core, theme and plugins, on staging first if possible.
• Remove plugins you no longer use.
• Submit every form as a test.
• Check mobile speed in PageSpeed Insights.

Quarterly

• Review admin users and remove old ones. Enable 2-factor login.
• Check for broken links and 404s in Search Console.
• Update hours, staff, prices and the copyright year.
• Renew the domain and SSL early.
